About this policy
Camille Jane operates camillejane.shop using Shopify. This policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you browse, shop or contact us. For privacy requests, email support@camillejane.shop.
Information we collect
- Contact and order details: your name, email, delivery and billing addresses, phone number if provided, purchases, returns and payment confirmations.
- Account and support information: details you provide when creating an account or contacting us.
- Device and browsing information: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, interactions, cookie identifiers and similar data collected through the store.
- Preferences: marketing choices, cookie settings and information you voluntarily submit.
We receive information directly from you, automatically through our store, and from providers such as Shopify, payment processors and delivery partners. Payments are processed through payment providers; do not send full card details by email or through our contact form.
How we use information
We use information to process and deliver orders, manage payments and returns, provide support, operate and secure the store, prevent fraud, keep required records and improve the shopping experience. Where permitted and consistent with your choices, we also use it for analytics, personalised advertising and marketing messages.
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we rely on performance of a contract for orders and service, legal obligations for required records, legitimate interests for proportionate security and business operations, and consent where required for marketing or non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
Who receives information
We share necessary information with Shopify and providers that support payments, hosting, order fulfilment, delivery, customer service and analytics. Advertising partners may receive device and browsing information where enabled and permitted by your choices. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell customer lists for money; some advertising disclosures may be considered a sale or sharing under state privacy laws.
Shopify
Shopify processes information to provide and improve its services and may act independently for certain processing. Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and exercise relevant rights through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Cookies and advertising choices
Essential cookies support functions such as checkout and security. Where used, optional analytics and advertising technologies are subject to applicable consent requirements. Use the store’s cookie preferences where available and visit Your Privacy Choices to opt out of eligible sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Where required by law, recognised Global Privacy Control signals are treated as an opt-out for the relevant browser or device. Blocking cookies may affect some store features.
International transfers, retention and security
Our providers may process information outside your country, including in Canada and the United States. Where required, we use legally recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual clauses. We retain information only as needed for the purposes described here, including applicable tax and accounting obligations, disputes and fraud prevention. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising. You may use an authorised agent where permitted. We may verify your identity and will respond within the period required by law, without discriminating against you for exercising a right. If a request is refused, you may ask us to review the decision and appeal where applicable.
Contact support@camillejane.shop to make a request or complaint. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as applicable.
Marketing and children
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using their unsubscribe link. We may still send essential order and service messages. Our store is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect children’s information. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us.
Updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The date above shows the latest revision; we will provide additional notice where required.
